The silence remains, and the misunderstandings continue to bicker

An ego only ever speaks the language of pride, not contentment. It speaks for a soft heart with a bitter tongue, and cages the soul is stubbornness instead of allowing it to fly in peace. An ego and love cannot rule at once, nor can happiness and arrogance coexist – those are two opposing mindsets that lead life to two different destinations. One can either build a kingdom of sticks, or build of home of steel – that is to say, one’s ego may be big, but is never as powerful as a drop of love.
